PHILADELPHIA - Temple field hockey is ranked #19 in this week's poll for womensfieldhockey.com, the website announced Tuesday. The Owls can also be found in the "also receiving votes" section of this week's STX/NFHCA Division I National Poll with 44 votes. The Cherry and White currently boast a 3-1 season record.
Last week, the Owls (3-1) topped the previously 14th ranked Boston University 3-2 on junior Dannah Brehm's game-winning goal in overtime. The Cherry and White also boast impressive 5-0 victories over both Bryant and Lehigh on the opening weekend of the season. The Owls only loss on the year came at the hands of #15 Ohio State, 3-0.
The Owls face a tough task when they travel to Happy Valley to take on #11 Penn State this afternoon from State College. Action is slated to being at 4:00 p.m.
