MIAMI, FL - The Temple men's basketball team arrived in Miami Wednesday afternoon following a morning practice session. The team's charter flight landed at 3:25 p.m. and when the Owls pulled up to the Hyatt Regency Miami none other than Phillies shortstop Jimmy Rollins, currently competing for Team USA in the World Baseball Classic, met the bus. The players then settled into the plush hotel, had an hour study hall under the supervision of learning specialist Jim Gillespie followed by a film session in preparation for Friday's game against Arizona State at American Airlines Arena. The evening concluded with a nice dinner at Green Street Restaurant.
Thursday the Owls will meet the media covering the NCAA Tournament before taking the floor at American Airline Arena for an abbreviated practice. The team will then travel to a local high school to have a full practice.
