Temple Head Coach Amanda Janney Annouces 2009 Summer Clinics

PHILADELPHIA - Temple field hockey head coach Amanda Janney has announced the 2009 summer clinic lineup. The clinics will feature instruction from the Temple coaching staff, as well as members of the TU field hockey team.
The Sweet D Field Hockey Clinic and U19 & U16 Tournament will be held from July 11-12. Instructional and full field games will be held on the outdoor field at "In the Net." Participants can sign up individually or as part of a team. The clinic will run from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.
The Hat Tricks & Shutouts Clinic, held July 13-14 at "In the Net", is a two-day clinic specifically designed for forwards and goalkeepers. The clinics will run from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., both days. Also being held at the same venue on the same dates is the Sweet D U14 Skills Clinic & Games. This two-day event runs from 9:00 a.m. to noon, featuring instruction for players under 14 years of age.
The Randy Lokey Memorial Tournament will be held on July 29 at Elizabethtown College. The tournament is open to U14 teams, and will feature 8v8 half-field games.
