Cherry and White Night Brings Out Temple Basketball Fans

PHILADELPHIA - The 2010 Cherry and White night hosted by the Temple Athletic Department for the men's and women's basketball teams was a resounding success. Check out a highlight video of the event by clicking the "play" button above, or at the following link: Cherry and White Night Highlights.
The event included performances by Temple Cheerleading and Diamond Gems, introductions of the men's and women's basketball teams, speeches by Fran Dunphy and Tonya Cardoza, dance contests and more.
Both teams begin the 2010-11 season at home on Friday, Nov. 12 at the Liacouras Center. The women will face Big Ten powerhouse Ohio State at 5:00 p.m. and the 22nd-ranked men's team will play Seton Hall at 7:30 p.m.
