Senior Forward Craig Williams Fractures Left Foot

Injury to sideline him four-to-six weeks

PHILADELPHIA – Temple senior forward Craig Williams, who had just been cleared for limited practice from a fracture of the fifth metatarsal of his right foot, suffered a fracture of the fifth metatarsal of his left foot Sunday prior to the Owls' game against Toledo. Williams, who will not need surgery, is expected to be out a minimum of four-to-six weeks.

As a junior in 2009-10, Williams played in 28 games, starting six times, and averaged 3.8 points and 1.8 rebounds and 11.9 minutes per contest. He made 29 three-pointers (89 attempts, .326) to rank third on the team in that category.

The #21/20 Owls next take the floor on Thursday, November 25 (9:00 p.m./ESPN2) against California in the first round of the Old Spice Classic in Orlando, Fla.
