CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.
– The men's 4x100m relay team strode to a first place finish at the Lou Onesty Invitational, hosted by the University of Virginia on Saturday. Seniors Josue Louis and Tim Boeni, along with junior Miles Dryden and sophomore Emmanuel Freeland met IC4A marks in the event with a time of 41.22.

Six other individuals grabbed IC4A qualifying marks on the day. Senior Brad McFadden led Temple in the 400m hurdles, breaking the tape in second place with a mark of 53.55. In the field, sophomore Tim Malloy took third in the high jump, clearing 2.04m. Boeni continues to translate his long jump success from indoor to outdoor, landing a distance of 7.43m.

Three Owls – Grant West, Bryce Buffaloe, and Bob Keogh – met IC4A marks in the hammer throw. West led with a second place finish (59.55m), followed by Buffaloe in fourth (58.34) and Keogh in fifth (55.59).

In the 800m, junior Lou Parisi placed second in a time of 1:53.61. Sophomore Travis Mahoney led the Owls in the 1500m run, clocking in at 3:57.13 for a second place finish.

In the javelin, Chris Durante placed fourth with a toss of 58.60.

Up next for Temple is the Greyhound Invitational, held April 16 at Moravian College.
