LAS VEGAS - Former Temple standout Mark Tyndale drained a long three-pointer to lift the NBA D-League Stars to a 79-78 win over the Los Angeles Clippers in the final game of the NBA Vegas Summer League at the Thomas & Mack Center on Sunday night.  Tyndale, who played last season with the Iowa Energy of the NBA D-League, scored 19 points in the contest to lead his team to its first win in its fifth and final game of the summer league.  He averaged 14.4 points per game with a high of 21 against Atlanta.

"I'm just happy we got a win," Tyndale told NBA D-League.com about finishing the 2010 Summer League on a high note. "We were here all week, working hard and practicing two times a day. My family was here watching and I don't get to see them too often, so it was great to get a win."

Tyndale's shot came after the Clippers missed one of two free throws, leaving the Select Team down two points with time running out. After initially fumbling the inbounds pass after a timeout, he collected the ball and heaved a shot from way past the free-throw line that was all net.
