Temple Basketball Teams To Debut on Cherry & White Night November 3

PHILADELPHIA – Temple University basketball fans will get their first chance to see the 2011-12 men's and women's basketball teams in action when the squads make their public debut at Cherry and White Night on Thursday, November 3. The free event, open to the public, will be held at McGonigle Hall from 7:30 – 9:00 p.m.

The Temple men's basketball team, coming off its fourth straight NCAA Tournament trip, and the Temple women's basketball team, which has appeared eight consecutive NCAA Tournaments, have your ticket for the best basketball action in the city! The men's team will host 11 games at the Liacouras Center with Big 5 rivals Villanova and Saint Joseph's, as well as conference preseason favorite Xavier highlighting the home slate. The Owls home schedule also includes national power Duke at the Wells Fargo Center on January 4 and another ACC foe, Maryland, at The Palestra on January 21.
