Temple senior averaged 20 points in four games

PHILADELPHI A - Temple University senior guard Ramone Moore was named the Philadelphia Big 5 Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, November 20.  Moore shared the honor with Carl Jones of Saint Joseph's.

The 6-4 Philadelphia native (Southern HS) averaged 20 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game in leading the Owls to a 3-1 week.  Moore led the Cherry and White in scoring in three of the four games, including a season-high 27 points in a loss to Purdue.  He followed that with a 23-point outing in the third place game of the 5-hour Energy Puerto Rico Tip-Off to garner all-Tournament Team honors.

It marks the fourth time that Moore, who also scored 15 points against Penn and Western Michigan, has earned Big 5 Player of the Week in his career.
