Men's Basketball Moves Back Into Top 25

Owls ranked #24 in AP poll, #25 by ESPN/USA Today

PHILADELPHIA – The three-time defending Atlantic 10 Conference champion Temple Owls are back in both major college basketball polls with the release of the Associated Press and ESPN/USA Today Top 25 rankings today. Temple is ranked #24 in the Associated Press poll and #25 in the ESPN/USA Today poll. This is the eighth week this season that Temple has appeared in the national rankings with its highest ranking being #19 in the January 10 Associated Press poll.

The Owls (14-6, 14-2) are the #2-seed in the 2011 Atlantic 10 Championships and will play the winner of Tuesday's first round game between #10-seed La Salle at #7-seed St. Bonaventure on Friday evening (6:30 p.m./The Comcast Network/1210 AM WPHT) at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.
