Ramone Moore Named NABC Second Team All-District

PHILADELPHIA – Temple junior guard Ramone Moore has been named to the NABC Second Team All-District team.
Named to the all-Atlantic 10 Conference Second Team, Moore leads the #24/25 Owls and is tied for 11th in the conference in scoring with a 14.8 average. Twice named Philadelphia Big 5 Player of the Week (12/13 &?2/13), he has scored in double figures in 30 of his 35 career starts, including a team-high 25 this season. The Philadelphia native (Southern HS) exploded for a career-high 30 points in Temple's 68-65 win over then #9/10 Georgetown (12/9). He also scored 26 points and grabbed a season-high nine rebounds in the team's 75-63 win at Dayton (2/12), following that performance with 24 points in a home win against Richmond (2/17).
Moore also leads TU?in free throws made (112)?and attempted (141) while connecting on 79.4 percent from the charity stripe to rank eighth in the A-10.
The Owls (24-6) are the #2-seed in the A-10 Championship and open play Friday night at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City against #10-seed La Salle. Tip time Friday is 6:30 p.m. (The Comcast Network/1210 AM WPHT).
