Seven individuals, four relays anticipate action

PHILADELPHIA - A total of seven Temple individuals and four relay teams are preparing for what is the nation's largest track & field event, the Penn Relays. Junior Tim Malloy has the honor of starting the Owls off with the men's high jump Eastern on Friday, April 29, at 10:00 p.m.

Also in action for the Owls on Friday is junior Brian Littlepage in the discus (1:30 p.m.), senior Miles Dryden and sophomore Dylan Pensyl in the long jump (3:30 p.m.) and senior Bob Keogh in the hammer throw (4:00 p.m.). The men's 4x100m relay (12:35 p.m.) also runs on Friday, along with the 4x200m (1:50 p.m.), 4x400m (4:40 p.m.) and distance medley (4:00 p.m.). On Saturday, freshman Gabe Pickett will compete in the triple jump at 9:00 a.m. and senior Chris Durante in the javelin at 12:30 p.m.
