Men's Basketball Has First Practice at New Facility

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple men's basketball team had its first official practice on the Donald and Nancy Resnick court located inside the program's brand new state-of-the-art practice facility.  The entire facility, which sits atop the soon to be completed Pearson-McGonigle Hall renovation, features:

• 30,000 square feet for the men's and women's practice facility
• 24-hour access to facility
• regulation-size basketball courts
• coaches' offices
• locker rooms with players lounges
• recruiting and meeting space
• cutting-edge sports medicine equipment
• advanced digital technologies
• strength and conditioning areas
• high-tech video rooms with theater-style seating
• an academic study lounge
• men's and women's basketball historical display

A Grand Opening for the new facility will be set for later in the year when the entire facility is completed.
