Moore and Wyatt Selected to NABC All-District First Team

KANSAS CITY, MO. – Senior Ramone Moore and junior Khalif Wyatt earned another round of postseason recognition on Wednesday, as both have been tabbed to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division I First Team All-District Team.

The NABC All-District teams are a  recognition of the nation's best men's collegiate basketball student-athletes. Selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC, these student-athletes represent the finest basketball players across America. The 240 student-athletes, from 24 districts, are eligible for the NABC Coaches' Division I All-America teams, to be announced on Tuesday, March 20

Moore, who earned second team honors last season and was named a member of this year's All-Atlantic 10 Conference's first team, leads Temple in scoring and ranks second in the conference with a 17.7 average.  The Philadelphia native (Southern HS) leads the conference in minutes played (36.5 mpg.) and ranks second on Temple in three-pointers (56) and assists (108).  He scored his 1,000th point this season and currently sits in 28th place on TU's all-time list with 1,388 points.

Wyatt, a second-team All-A-10 selection, ranks fourth in the conference in scoring with a 17.1 average while has scored in double figures in 19 consecutive games, the longest active streak in the A10.  The Norristown, Pa, native also ranks fourth in the A-10 in steals (2.2 pg.) and free throw percentage (.854).
