Moore, Fernandez Help Lead East to Victory at Reese's College All-Star Game

NEW ORLEANS - Temple University senior guard Ramone Moore scored 15 points and grabbed a team-high nine rebounds while his TU backcourt mate Juan Fernandez added two assists to help lead the East All-Stars to a 103-99 win over the West All-Stars in the Reese's®Division I College All-Star Game Friday night at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
Moore made four-of-13 shots from the field, including two-of-four from long range, and connected on all five of his free throws for his 15 points. He was second on the East in scoring while playing 21 minutes.
Fernandez, who placed second in the three-point shooting contest Thursday was held scoreless in the game, missing on five field goal attempts. He did not have a turnover in the contest, playing 16 minutes.
Marquette's Jae Crowder was named the East All-Stars' Reese's® Perfect Player as he led all scorers with 25 points. rowder, who had 18 points in the second half, was nine of 16 from the floor while adding five rebounds, three assists and three steals in the win.
John Shurna of Northwestern finished with 12 points and Iona's Scott Machado had a game-high eight assist go to with his 11 points for the East.
Missouri's Ricardo Ratliffe was named the West All-Stars' Reese's Perfect Player as he led his team with 21 points to go with 10 rebounds. Ratliffe was seven of 11 from the field. Wendell McKines from New Mexico State finished with 15 points and a game-high 18 rebounds while UNLV's Chace Stanback had 16 points for the West.
