Atlantic 10 Announces Men's Basketball Conference Schedule

PHILADELPHIA – The Atlantic 10 Conference released its 16-game men's basketball conference schedule for 2012-13. Each league team will face each opponent once and one team twice. The complete 2012-13 Conference schedule with dates and times will be announced at a later date.
Temple will play a home and home series with Charlotte and will host Duquesne, La Salle, Rhode Island, Richmond, St. Bonaventure, Saint Louis and Virginia Commonwealth.
The Owls will be on the road games against Butler, Dayton, Fordham, George Washington, Massachusetts, Saint Joseph's and Xavier.
Under the direction of seventh-year head coach Fran Dunphy, Temple returns seven players from last year's team that posted a 24-8 record and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the fifth straight season. Senior guard Khalif Wyatt, a 2012 second team all-conference performer, leads the the returnees. Senior forward Rahlir Hollis-Jefferson, one of two players to start all 32 games last season, also returns while redshirt sophomore center Anthony Lee, who made 17 starts, is also back.
