Basketball Tips Off Season with Cherry and White Night

PHILADELPHIA - Over 3,000 students invaded the Liacouras Center Friday night to help tip off the 2013 men's and women's basketball season. The students were entertained by the teams performing in various competitions not involving a basketball, while getting to meet the new faces on each of the teams.
Temple's men's team opens the team at Penn on November 9th (5:00 pm) before hosting Kent State at the Liacouras Center on November 11th (7:00 pm/ESPNU). Temple's women's team has an exhibition game against West Chester at McGonigle Hall on November 2nd (3:00 p.m.) before opening for real at La Salle on November 8th (7:00 p.m.).
