Dunphy Interview | Cummings Interview

PHILADELPHIA -
Philadelphia's Winningest College Basketball Team, the Temple Owls, welcomed the media to its Pearson McGonigle Practice facility Monday for its annual media day.

Picked to finish fifth in the tough American Athletic Conference, Temple returns eight letterwinners and two starters - juniors Will Cummings and Anthony Lee - from its 2012-13 squad that finished 24-10 and advanced to the third round of the NCAA Tournament before falling to top-seed Indiana, 58-52.

Temple head coach Fran Dunphy, now in his eighth year at the helm, has led his Owls to six straight NCAA Tournament appearances.  Temple is one of only eight Division I schools to accomplish the feat.

The Owls open their season at The Palestra against Penn on November 9 (5:00 p.m) before hosting Kent State in their home opener at the Liacouras Center on Monday, November 11 (7:00 p.m.). The game is part of the  2013 ESPN Tip-Off Marathon and will be televised live on ESPNU.

Full and partial season tickets are still available, and guarantee customers the best seats, ticket discounts, and other season ticket holder benefits.

To order full or partial season tickets, or single game seats, call the Temple Sales Office at 215-204-8499 or visit www.OwlsTix.com.
