Temple Basketball Cherry & White Night Set for Friday, Oct. 18

PHILADELPHIA – Kick off Homecoming Weekend with Temple Basketball Cherry & White Night which is set for Friday, Oct. 18 at 7:30 p.m. in the Liacouras Center.
Both the 2013-14 men's and women's basketball teams will be introduced. Fans will enjoy music, games, prizes, photo booth, and much more. Free t-shirts will be given to the first 1,000 students. All fans are invited to create their own hype video which will be used throughout the season.
Upon entrance, all fans will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win an iPad mini.
The event is FREE and open to the public. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
The Temple men's team opens the season at Penn on Nov. 9. The home opener at the Liacouras Center is set for Nov. 11 with Kent State at 7 p.m.
The Temple women's team opens the season at cross-town rival La Salle on Nov. 8. The home opener at McGonigle Hall is slated for Nov. 16 with Auburn at 6 p.m.
