Temple continues its month-long homestand with No. 21/18 Michigan State on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 7 p.m. at McGonigle Hall.
Fans who bring a canned food (non-perishable) item, which will benefit Philabundance, will receive discounted tickets for $5.
A videostream of the game will air live on OwlSports.com with Justin Diaz providing play-by-play, and Temple Associate AD/SWA and former coach Kristen Foley providing color commentary.
The Owls then host Oakland on Saturday, Nov. 30. Tip-off is slated for 2 p.m.
SCOUTING TEMPLE
The Owls, under sixth-year head coach Tonya Cardoza, stand a perfect 3-0 on the season after a 78-74 win over Auburn on Nov. 16. Temple returns seven letterwinners, including three starters, to the line-up.
After three games, the five Owl starters are each averaging double-figure scoring. Junior Tyonna Williams (Fort Washington, Md.) is the Owls' leading scorer with 16.7 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. Freshman Feyonda Fitzgerald (Norfolk, Va.) follows with 11.3 ppg and 3.3 rpg, while senior Natasha Thames (Port Huron, Mich.) adds 11.0 ppg and a team-best 8.7 rpg. Senior Shi-Heria Shipp (Salisbury, N.C.) and sophomore Erica Covile (Canton, Mich.) each add 10.3 ppg.

The No. 21/18 Spartans, under the guidance of seventh-year head coach Suzy Merchant, stand 4-1 after a 81-68 win over Rice on Nov. 23.
Freshman Tori Jankoska leads five Spartans in double-digit scoring with 14.4 ppg and 4.0 rpg. Senior Annalise Pickrel adds 13.4 ppg and a team-best 7.6 tpg, and r-freshman Aerial Powers follows with 12.0 ppg. Senior Klarissa Bell adds 10. 8 ppg, while junior Becca Mills rounds out the double-figure scorers with 10.6 ppg.
SCOUTING OAKLAND
The Golden Grizzlies, under the guidance of first-year head coach Jeff Tungate, stand 0-5 after an 84-50 loss at No. 3 Tennessee on Nov. 24. Oakland?hosts Niagara on Nov. 27 prior to visiting Temple.
VS. RANKED FOES
Since 1976, Temple has upset 12 teams ranked in the Top 25. The Owls' last upset came against No. 13 Xavier on Feb. 25, 2009, with a 74-65 victory at the Liacouras Center. TU?has faced the nation's No. 1 team six times and is still looking for an upset.
Temple has been nationally ranked twice in its history. Under head coach Dawn Staley, the Owls earned their first nationally ranking during the 2004-05 season and were ranked for eight weeks, reaching as high as No. 15 in both polls. The following season (2005-06), TU was ranked the entire season, reaching as high as No. 16.
