Fans Encouraged to Bring Canned Food to Temple Men's Basketball Home Opener on Nov. 11

11.8.13 | Men's Basketball

PHILADELPHIA - Temple Athletics is partnering with the Temple University Alumni Association and their Global Day of Service on November 11 at the Temple men's basketball home opener against Kent State. Fans are encouraged to bring canned food items to the Liacouras Center Box Office for the 7:00 p.m. game.

Items will be donated to Philabundance. Fans who bring canned food items will receive $5 off tickets (lower level baseline and upper level) for the game  High demand items include:

-Canned/Shelf-stable tuna
-Macaroni and Cheese
-Canned Pasta
-Canned Beef Stew
-Canned Chili
-Creamy Peanut Butter
-Jelly
-Canned Green Beans
-Canned Corn
-Canned Fruit
-Breakfast Cereal
-Hot Cereal
