Matt Kacyon Places Second in the 5,000 at the Haverford Holiday Meet

HAVERFORD, Pa. - Junior Matt Kacyon placed second in the 5,000m run at Saturday's Haverford Holiday Meet, running the race in a time of 15:01.11. Kacyon was the lone competitor for Temple men's indoor track & field at the meet. Last week's Jack Pyrah Invitational did not feature a 5,000m race on the men's side.
The action was the first of the 2013-14 season for Kacyon, who redshirted cross country in the fall.Â
The team as a whole will return to competition January 10-11 at the Rutgers Invitational.
