PHILADELPHIA - Temple men's basketball takes a three-game win streak into its next game, a noon contest against Texas at the Wells Fargo Center on Saturday, Dec. 7. ESPNU will carry the game between the Owls (4-3) and the Longhorns (7-1).

Tickets are available through OwlsTix.com or by calling 215-204-8499.

• Temple and Texas will be meeting for the sixth time, with the Longhorns winning the most recent meeting on their home court in 2011, 77-65.

• The last time the two teams met at a neutral site was at the Superdome in New Orleans in 2001 for the NCAA First Round. Temple won that contest, 79-65, and went on to advance to the Elite Eight.

• The Owls have won three straight games, snapping their first three-game losing streak since Dec. 22-29, 2008.

Anthony Lee notched his fourth double-double of the season with 15 points and 11 rebounds in the most recent win vs. Saint Joseph's, scoring seven of those points in the final 2:09 to seal the victory.

Will Cummings and Dalton Pepper, Temple's two scoring leaders, each put up a team-best 16 points against Saint Joseph's.

• Senior Dalton Pepper, an all-tourney selection at the Charleston Classic, set new career highs in two straight games at that tournament, scoring 22 points in the win over Georgia before tallying a career-high 24 points in the win over UAB.

Will Cummings, who scored 22 points in the 72-58 first-round loss to Clemson, hit the game-winning three-pointer with 7 seconds left to lift TU to its second win of the season against Georgia.

Quenton DeCosey and Cummings are the only two Temple players  to score in double figures in all seven games this season.

• Texas started the season 4-0 before dropping its first game (86-82 to BYU), but the Longhorns have now won three straight.

• The Longhorns have out-rebounded seven of the eight teams they have faced, with a rebounding margin of +9.9.

• Six Texas players average between seven and 13 points per game, led by junior forward Jonathan Holmes with 12.7 ppg.

• Junior Jaylen Bond played for two seasons at Texas before transferring to Temple this season, and will be eligible in 2014-15 due to NCAA transfer rules.
