Men's Track & Field Competes At First Day of New Balance Collegiate Invite

NEW YORK, N.Y.— For the second time in the last three weeks, the Temple women's track and field team sent competitors to the 168th St. Armory in New York City. This time around, the Owls took part in the New Balance Collegiate Invitational.
In the 400m race senior Damien Myers finished in 13th place running a time of 49.13. Myers was closely followed by fellow Owl, junior Lionel Wilson, who placed 15th (49.18)
Finishing Friday night's events was the Temple men's distance relay. Sophomore Cullen Davis, junior Wilson Lionel, freshman Steven Flynn and sophomore Kacyon Mathew earned a 13th place finish with a combined time of 10:24.06.
Temple will continue its weekend of competition at the New Balance Collegiate Invitaitonal when day two of events begins Saturday morning.
