Khalif Wyatt Earns A10 & Big 5 Player of the Week Honors

PHILADELPHIA – Temple University senior guard Khalif Wyatt has been named Player of the Week by both the Atlantic10 Conference and the Philadelphia Big 5 for the week ending February 10. It is the third time he has earned A10 honors this season and second time he has been garnered Big 5 accolades.
Wyatt, the Atlantic 10 Conference's leading scorer (18.9 ppg.), averaged 22.5 points and shot 53.8% from the field in a 2-0 week for the Owls. He scored 25 points and recorded four assists, two blocks and two steals in an 89-88 win over Charlotte on Feb. 6. He followed that with 20 points, including the game-winning three-pointer with 7.1 seconds left in a 72-71 come-from-behind win at Dayton (2/9).
The Norristown, Pa. native (Norristown HS) is averaging 24.3 points per game in his last nine outings. He was the game-high scorer 11 times on the season, including both outings this past week.
Temple (16-7, 5-4 A10) hosts Duquesne (7-16, 0-9 A10) Thursday at the Liacouras Center.
