Khalif Wyatt Named A10 co-Player of the Week

PHILADELPHIA – Temple University senior guard Khalif Wyatt has been named Atlantic 10 Conference co-Player of the Week, for the week ending February 3. The Norristown, Pa. native (Norristown HS) shares the honor with junior forward Juvonte Reddic of Virginia Commonwealth.
Wyatt, the Atlantic 10 Conference's leading scorer (18.6 ppg.), averaged 26.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists in a 1-1 week for the Owls. He scored a career-high 34 points in a 70-69 loss at Saint Joseph's Saturday while making career best seven three-pointers (14 attempts). In a 71-64 win over Richmond Wednesday, he grabbed a career-high tying seven rebounds while scoring 19 points.
For the year, Wyatt has been game-high scorer nine times and has been red-hot of late, averaging 25.1 points over last seven outings.
Temple (14-7, 3-4 A10) hosts Charlotte (17-4, 5-2 A10) Wednesday at the Liacouras Center.
