DAYTON, Ohio - Temple received a chilly welcome when stepping off the charter plane in Dayton, but a much warmer welcome at the Holiday Inn Dayton/Fairborn which will be the team's home during the 2013 NCAA Tournament Second and Third Rounds. The Owls were greeted with a bagpiper, basketball cookies, large banner, balloons and a cheering hotel staff upon arrival.

After a satisfying meal including choices like ribs, chicken, cornbread and macaroni and cheese, Temple's first day in Dayton is coming to a close. The Owls will be the first team at the arena on Thursday for news conferences and practice, in preparation for their 1:40 p.m. game against N.C. State on Friday.
