MAHWAH, N.J.—
It was a strong afternoon on Saturday for the Temple men's track and field squad, as several Owls posted new record times and won event titles to help the team place as the runner-up for the Roadrunner Invitational title.

Sophomore Gabe Pickett came away with a pair of career-best marks, as he won the long jump title with his distance of 7.08 meters after placing eighth overall in the 100 meter dash with the fastest time in his career of 11.21. Senior Damian Myer took third place in the 100 meter dash to earn six points for his team with his season-best time of 11.01. Later in the afternoon, Myers set another season-best mark when he competed in the 200 meter dash, where he placed as the runner-up with his time of 21.91.

Allan Harding rushed for a time of 22.41 in the 200 meter dash to take fourth and set a new personal best time in the event. Harding's time (49.23) in the 400 meter edition was also a season-best.

Darryl McDuffie led the Owls to 10 more points toward their team score, as he landed his high jump with a mark of 2.00m and then won on a jump off to take the event title, while freshman Alex Izewski's time of 15:33.51 was quick enough for him to take first place in the 5000 meter run.
In other field events, sophomore Justin Berg set an IC4A and personal best mark on Friday in the hammer throw with his mark of 53.83 meters, which earned him second place.

Michael Deitzler led the Owls in the javelin throw (56.58m) to take fourth place, ahead of Sean McAneney, who took eighth place in the vent with a career-best mark of 51.30 meters.

Temple will be back in action next Saturday (April 13) when the team splits between the Mason Spring Invitational (George Mason) and the Hurricane Alumni Invitational (University of Miami).
