Men's Basketball Standout Rahlir Hollis-Jefferson Earns Degree

PHILADELPHIA - Rahlir Hollis-Jefferson, who helped lead Temple men's basketball to 103 wins and four NCAA tournament appearances in his career, graduated with the Class of 2013 on Thursday, May 16. Macaulay earned a bachelor's degree in social work.
The Chester, Pa. native (Chester HS) averaged 8.9 points and 6.1 rebounds while also dishing 112 assists and making 56 steals over 33 games. The 2013 Second Team all-Philadelphia Big 5 selection finished his career with 894 points, 670 rebounds, 254 assists, 153 steals and 108 blocked shots. His 670 rebounds ranks 15th on Temple's all-time list while his 108 blocks stands 10th all-time at the school.
Hollis-Jefferson, who set career highs with 23 points and 18 rebounds in a win over La Salle (2/21/12), was the 2013 male recipient of Temple's Enterprise Spirit and Sportsmanship Award.
