MONTE CARLO, Monaco - It was a rare off day for the Temple men's basketball team on its journey through Europe.

The Owls started the day with an early morning six-hour train ride from Paris to Nice in the South of France. The team then boarded a bus and drove to another country, Monaco, where they toured one of the world's most beautiful cities.

Temple did stop and see the one tie to the city of Philadelphia, the chapel where Philadelphia icon Grace Kelly, a famous movie star in the 1950s, married Prince Ranier III, the ruler of the country at the time. Sadly, Princess Grace died in a tragic car accident in 1982.

The Owls then returned to their hotel overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Monday the team travels to Italy, stopping first in Mantova where the Owls will scrimmage Primavera Mirandola. The time of that scrimmage has been changed to 1:30 pm EST. It will be streamed by OwlsTV.
