Owls' Men's Tennis Players Face Delaware at Navy Invitational

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Temple's men's tennis team continued play at the Navy Invitational on Saturday, September 7, facing Delaware in the non-scoring flighted event. The Owls got wins in two of four doubles matches and five of eight singles bouts.
Santiago Canete and Nicolas Paulus teamed up to defeat Evan Andrews and Tyler Flematti at the second flight, 8-4. Sam Rundle and Hernan Vasconez were the other TU winners at doubles, defeating Roy Cheng and Mike Furr, 8-1.
Paulus, Canete and Rundle were all double winners, picking up victories in singles action as well. Also earning wins in singles play for the Owls were Hicham Belkssir and Vineet Naran.
Temple finishes play against Navy at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 8.
