- Temple men's basketball will travel to Houston for its next contest on Sunday, Feb. 9 at 2:00 p.m. (EST), facing the Cougars for the first time in program history. The contest will be broadcast by ESPNews.

• Temple is currently the only team in Division I to have four players averaging 14 or more points per game.

• Dalton Pepper tops the team in scoring (17.5 ppg, 4th AAC), three-pointers (2.9 pg, 1st AAC) and 3-pt percentage (.412, 8th).

• Pepper scored a career-high 33 points vs. #15/16 Cincinnati, hitting eight treys and scoring 27 points in a huge second-half run for the Owls.

• Anthony Lee (14.0 ppg) leads the conference in rebounding (9.2 rpg), and has 10 double-doubles on the season.

• The Owls' top four scorers, who have accounted for 83 percent of the team's points, produced just 26 percent of last year's total points.

• The Owls have lost 10 of their last 11, with their 15 losses now ranking as the most since 2006-07 (12-18), Fran Dunphy's first year at Temple.

• Quenton DeCosey (15.3 ppg, 9th AAC) scored in double figures in the first 17 games of the season and has done so in 19 of 21 overall.

• Will Cummings is second on the team and fifth in the league with 16.6 ppg, and has scored in double figures in 17 of 19 games played.

• Cummings was the game's leading scorer for two contests in a row (21 points in win vs. Rutgers, 24 vs. #9/9 Villanova).

• Temple and Houston are meeting for the first time in program history.

• Houston head coach James Dickey faced the Owls one time when he was head coach at Texas Tech, losing 67-64 in double overtime on Dec. 20, 1994.

• The Cougars have lost five straight and seven of their last eight, most recently dropping a 77-62 decision at home vs. #14/10 Louisville.

• Junior forward TaShawn Thomas leads Houston with 15.8 ppg (tied for 6th in AAC) and 8.7 rpg (2nd in AAC).
