WILLAMSBURG, Va. – Temple women's gymnastics fell to William and Mary in the final meet 193.375-189.525 of the regular season on Sunday afternoon at William and Mary Hall.
Temple started the meet on bars. The Owls earned an event score of 46.45. Brittanie DeMeno (9.5) and Victoria Reggiani (9.55) both scored at least a 9.5, respectively.
On vault, the Owls scored a 48.05. Junior, Lauren Capone, lead the Owls on the event with her career high mark of 9.825. Brittanie DeMeno and Jasmine Johnson were also strong contributors scoring 9.7 and 9.65, respectively.
Sylvie Borschel had the best score on beam of the two teams with a routine earning her a 9.825. Rebecca McAndrew also scored a 9.7 to help Temple earn a 46.5 on beam.
The Owls finished the meet on floor, where they got a 48.525. Jasmine Johnson and Lauren Capone both scored a 9.8 for the top scores on floor.
Briana Odom was the only Owl to do all four events for an all-around score, finishing with a 36.325.
The Owls return home to host the ECAC Championships next Saturday at noon.
