BOSTON - Junior Margo Britton's sixth-place finish in the weight throw highlighted day two for Temple women's track & field at the three-day ECAC Championships. Britton's throw of 17.91m (58-09.25) is a personal best, and earned her three team points for the Owls.
Britton will also compete in the shot put on Sunday, and has recorded the second-best mark in that event among the field of 21 competitors.
Britton's points added to the six earned by junior Kiersten LaRoche, who took third place in the pentathlon on Friday.
Senior Anna Pavone placed 12th in the mile in 5:00.29, and junior Jenna Dubrow was 28th in the 5000m with her time of 17:53.22.
Junior Michelle Davis Timothy and freshman Kenya Gaston placed 29th and 31st, respectively, in the 400m dash prelims.
