PHILADELPHIA - Dates are set for AJ's Field Hockey Camps for the Summer of 2014, as well as for two adult tournaments. For more information and to register, follow the links above.
The dates and events are as follows:
July Training Camp at Temple: Saturday & Sunday, July 5 & 6, 2014, 10am-4pm
July Training Camp is a two-day camp. Players will receive individual coaching from Division 1 Coaches and Division 1 student-athletes. Advanced skills will be taught so that players are more prepared for elite level play on AstroTurf. Leadership Training with Coach Devine will be part of the Saturday morning session.
Lunch will be provided on both days. Campers are responsible for their own transportation and housing.
Cost: $220 per player.
July 26, 2014 Hat Tricks & Shutouts Clinic: Saturday, July 26, 2014, 10am-4pm
"Hat Tricks & Shutouts" Clinic is designed for Forwards and Goalkeepers. Players will participate in shooting drills that teach the skills to become an elite goal scorer or an elite Goalkeeper! Campers are responsible for their own transportation and lunch.
Cost: $100 per player.
August 23, 2014 Pre Season Clinic at Temple: Saturday, August 23, 3pm-5pm
This Field Hockey Clinic is designed for players in Grades 6-12. Campers will participate in warm up drills and skill drills that are designed to teach the skills needed to become an elite hockey player. Clinic Coaches will consist of Temple & Villanova Coaches & Student-Athletes. Clinic will begin when the 1:00 PM Scrimmage Temple vs. Villanova concludes. Campers will receive a Camp Tshirt.
Cost: $40 per player.
August 30, 2014 Conference Cup Clinic at the Spooky Nook, in Lancaster, Pa.
This Field Hockey Clinic is designed for players ages 5-18 years old. Campers will participate in warm up drills and skill drills that are designed to teach the skills needed to become an elite hockey player. Clinic Coaches will consist of Temple & Maryland Coaches & Student-Athletes. This Clinic at The Spooky Nook is in conjunction with the Conference Cup Tournament featuring Temple, Maryland, UMass, and Northeastern University.
Time: TBA, Cost: TBA
TOURNAMENTS: for post-collegiate Women only (adults who are not in High School or College).
Sunday, July 27, 2014 – Philly Hockey 5's Adult Tournament, 10am-4pm
FIH Hockey 5's Rules will be used. Each team will get four 30 minutes games. Teams must have at least 1 Goalkeeper and 4 Field players.
Cost: $200 per team of 5-9 players
Sat & Sun, June 6 & 7, 2014 – HARROW CUP
