Men's Basketball To Play Duke at 2014 Coaches vs. Cancer® Classic

PHILADELPHIA – For the sixth time in the last nine years Temple Men's Basketball will square off against Duke as the National Association of Basketball Coaches and the American Cancer Society announced the matchups for the championship round of the 2014 Coaches vs. Cancer® Classic.
The Owls will play the Blue Devils on Friday, November 21 in the second game of a doubleheader at Barclays Center in Brooklyn with Stanford taking on UNLV at 7:00 p.m. On Saturday, November 22, the consolation game will tip off at 7:00 p.m., followed by the 2014 Coaches vs. Cancer Classic championship game. All four games will be exclusively televised live on truTV, a part of the Turner Broadcasting System.
The Coaches vs. Cancer® Classic is an annual basketball event hosted by the Coaches vs. Cancer program, a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society® and the National Association of Basketball Coaches. The event will benefit the American Cancer Society to support its mission to save more lives and help finish the fight against cancer.
The complete tournament field for the 2014 Coaches vs. Cancer Classic will be announced at a later date.
