Volleyball's Sandra Sydlik Named to American Weekly Honor Roll

For her efforts, Sydlik was also named the Under Armour OwlSports.com Athlete of the Week.
Sydlik was named the Big 5 Tournament MVP and to the Big 5 All-Tournament Team along with sophomore Kirsten Overton. Sydlik averaged 11.75 assists per set, playing in eight of nine sets for the Owls. She recorded assists on 41 of the Owls' 51 kills in a sweep of Villanova, and on 34 of 44 kills in a sweep of Penn.
Sydlik made it a double-double against Penn, adding 11 digs to 34 assists while also serving up a match-best three aces and tying for match-high honors with five blocks. She served up a total of seven aces in eight sets (0.88 aces per set).
