Field Hockey Player Spotlights: Ashley Kucera and Alyssa Delp

During each week of the 2015 Temple field hockey season, two student-athletes will be featured for "Player Spotlights" on OwlSports.com. The 11th player spotlights of the year will help Owl fans get to know redshirt freshman Ashley Kucera and senior Alyssa Delp.

Do you have siblings? Names, ages? I have a younger brother Scott and he's 18. If you could be in any profession after college, what would it be? I'd like to be a PA in the medical field so I could spend every day helping people. What TV show are you hooked on? Mad Men on Netflix. What is your biggest fear? Disappointing my dad. If you could eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? Taco salad. If you won a million dollars, what's the first thing you would buy? I would buy a mustang for my dad. If you were an animal, what animal would you be? Monkey. Last concert you saw and where? Brad Paisley in Camden. If you could change one thing about the world today, what would it be? I'd change the way people treat each other for the better, so that the world would be a happier place in general. What is your favorite part of being a member of Temple field hockey? I love the family that I have gained from being part of the team.	Why did you start playing field hockey? My best friend in middle school dared me to try out for the team. If you could have any super power, what would it be? Mind control. If you won a million dollars, what's the first thing you would buy? I'd probably save it. Wait until grad school ends in a few years and then start paying off student loans. Favorite candy? Rolo. Favorite exercise in the weight room? Glute ham raises! If you were an animal, what animal would you be? Panther. What is something your mom or dad taught you? Think before you speak. Do you have any pets? Names? I have a dog named Ginger. What's one word to describe yourself? Dedicated. Favorite sport to watch on TV (other than field hockey)? New York Yankees baseball. If you could be in any profession after college, what would it be? Professional dancer, because I'm actually a terrible dancer and wonder what it's like to have rhythm and be so graceful.
