10.14.16 | Men's Basketball

PHILADELPHIA –With the addition of four games to be televised by CSN Philadelphia and TCN during the 2016-17 season, Temple will have its entire men's basketball schedule broadcast on television for the first time in history.

Temple's 2016-17 schedule includes 19 games televised exclusively by ESPN Networks, seven contests on CBS Sports Network, four on CSN/TCN and one on FS1.  Twenty-three Temple games will also be available on ESPN3/WatchESPN.

"This is truly tremendous exposure and is a byproduct of the success of the program, the fifth-winningest at the Division I level, and the benefit of competing in one of the best conferences in the nation," said Temple University Director of Athletics Dr. Patrick Kraft.  "We would like to thank all of our TV partners for bringing Temple basketball to our fan base."

CSN will air the Temple-Penn game, scheduled for December 3 at 4 p.m. as well as the Owls' game against USF on February 5 at 1 p.m.  TCN will carry Temple's game at UMass on Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. and the Owls' home game versus East Carolina on January 7 at noon.

All four games will be produce, distributed and syndicated regionally and nationally by the American Sports Network (ASN) and will also be available on ESPN3/WatchESPN.
