Quenton DeCosey Named to the American Weekly Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Â After scoring a career-high 30 points to lead Temple men's basketball to a 70-63 win at USF on January 31, senior guard Quenton DeCosey has been named to the American Athletic Conference's Weekly Honor Roll. He has been a conference player of the week once this season already, and was named to the honor roll once before as well.
DeCosey averaged 22 points per game, nine rebounds per game, 2.5 assists per game and 1.5 steals per game in a 1-1 week for the Owls. He hit 12-of-23 from the field (52.2 percent) including 6-of-11 from 3-point range (54.5 percent). DeCosey also hit 14-of-17 from the free throw line (82.4 percent). In the Owls' loss at East Carolina on January 27, DeCosey notched a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds.
He followed up that performance with a career-high 30 points in the USF win, including career highs in free throws made (14) and attempts (17).
