Olivia Wynn
If you could have any super power, what would it be?
The power to influence people's emotions. For example, being able to uplift someone if they were having a bad day.
How did you get started in fencing?
I wanted to play a winter sport and I was not very skilled at basketball or swimming. My high school had a fencing team and I thought it was intriguing so I joined! To this day I'm still intrigued.
Do you have siblings? Names, ages?
I have an older brother named Myles who is 26.
If you could be in any profession after college, what would it be?
I would love being an elementary school teacher, between kindergarten and 4th grade. Or the director of a sleepaway camp! I've worked at a sleepaway camp for the last 3 summers and it is the job of a lifetime.
If you could change one thing about the world today, what would it be?
I would like to see less fighting and more cooperation and appreciation of one another. I would also outlaw guns.
If you could eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Apples and Cinnamon Oatmeal!
Favorite candy?
Kit Kats or Nestle's Crunch-a-bunch.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
Making spontaneous and courageous choices in my life. Like going to college out of state, spending a week in London and Wales on a whim with some of my best friends, and deciding to work at a sleepaway camp I knew nothing about. Due to some of those decisions, I have some of the best friends and experiences a person could ask for.
What TV shows are you hooked on?
Currently, The Fosters and Quantico. Ongoing shows would be Orange is the New Black, House of Cards, and How to Get Away with Murder.
If you were an animal, what animal would you be?
A snow leopard, because I like the snow, I like to be disguised, and because snow leopards are graceful and fast.
Favorite exercise in the weight room?
BACK SQUATS ALL DAY EVERYDAY.
What's one word to describe yourself?
Spontaneous.
What is something your mom or dad taught you?
Don't be afraid to take risks, they lead to some of the best opportunities. However, own up to your mistakes if you make one.
Alexandra Keft
If you could have any super power, what would it be?
Super agility/super strength.
How did you get started in fencing?
My mom fenced in college and for a while when we first moved to Vegas, so I just started because she was doing it.
Do you have siblings? Names, ages?
I have a brother, Feodor, who is 16 and he also fences.
If you could be in any profession after college, what would it be?
Physical Therapy.
If you could change one thing about the world today, what would it be?
A less ignorant, more empathetic world.
If you could eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Sushi, sushi, sushi.
Favorite candy?
Regalad, it's a French version of starbursts, but better :)
What is your proudest accomplishment?
Getting accepted into all the colleges I applied to.
What TV shows are you hooked on?
Sherlock, House of Cards, Game of Thrones.
Favorite exercise in the weight room?
Standing long jump, and jump rope, anything involving agility.
