Cummings, Eric Play Well at NBA D-League All-Star Game

TORONTO – Temple alums Will Cummings and Micheal Eric both represented the Owls well at the 2016 NBA D-League All-Star Game, but their West team fell to the East, 128-124, Saturday afternoon at the Ricoh Coliseum.
Cummings, who starred at Temple from 2011-15, started and scored 11 points on five-of-six shooting from the floor. The Rio Grande Valley Vipers rookie also dished five assists and made two steals while playing 21 minutes in the contest.
Eric, who played at Temple from 2008-12, scored eight points on four-of-five shooting in just nine minutes of action. The Texas Legends star also grabbed three rebounds in his first all-star game appearance.
Former BYU star Jimmer Fredette was named the game's MVP, pacing the East with an all-star game record 35 points.
