Tenth-Ranked Fencing Will Send the Maximum 12 to NCAA Regionals

PHILADELPHIA - The 10th-ranked Temple fencing team will be well-represented at this weekend's NCAA Mid-Atlantic South Regional, with the maximum 12 fencers competing for the Owls. All 17 team members met the NCAA criteria and were eligible for the meet, but only 12 per team are permitted to compete.

Representing the epee squad will be senior Jessica Hall, junior Alexandra Keft and sophomore Safa Ibrahim.

The foil squad will be represented by seniors Demi Antipas and Fatima Largaespada, junior Miranda Litzinger and freshman Auset Muhammad.

For the sabre squad, seniors Gloria Aguilar and Petra Khan will compete along with junior Victoria Suber and freshmen Blessing Olaode and Jessica Rockford.

The NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regional is being hosted by Lafayette College in Easton, Pa.

The Owls are coming off their 20th straight NIWFA title two weeks ago, where they earned five All-NIWFA honors.
