Fencing Unveils New Facility at Annual Alumnae Meet

PHILADELPHIA - The annual Alumnae Meet was extra special for Temple fencing this year, as the Owls were able to show off their brand-new space in the Pavilion. In addition to an indoor practice room for men's golf and an erg facility for men's crew and women's rowing, the Pavilion now houses permanent strips and scoring equipment for the nationally ranked fencing program.
Temple begins official practice today, Monday, Oct. 2, and will open its competition season on Saturday, Oct. 28 with the 38th annual Temple Open at the Liacouras Center. Check back to OwlSports.com in the coming days for more on the new facility and the team's official start to the season.
