Men’s Basketball Announces Signing of Arashma Parks

PHILADELPHIA – Arashma Parks, a 6-8, 230-pound forward, has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Temple University, announced the Owls' head men's basketball coach Fran Dunphy.
Parks, a native of North Royalton, Ohio, is in his first season at the Phelps School in Malvern, Pa. where he is averaging 12 points, eight rebounds and two blocks per game.
"We are happy to welcome Arashma to the Temple basketball family," said Dunphy. "He is a tremendous young man from a great family who will be a good fit for our program."
The younger brother of Villanova redshirt freshman center Omari Spellman, Parks transferred to the Phelps School from Springfield (Mass.) Commonwealth Academy, where he prepped from 2014-17.
Temple opens its 2017-18 season at the Gildan Charleston Classic on November 16 against Old Dominion (1:30 pm/ESPN3/1210 AM WPHT).
