Obi Enechionyia Named to Weekly Honor Rolls

PHILADELPHIA – Temple senior forward Obi Enechionyia has been named to the American Athletic Conference and Philadelphia Big 5 Weekly Honor Rolls for the week ending November 19.
Enechionyia, one of 21 power forwards on the Karl Malone Award Watch List, started the season strong, earning MVP of Gildan Charleston Classic. The Owl co-captain led the Cherry and White to the title, averaging 15.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in three wins. He scored in double figures all three games, including his fourth career double-double, a 19-point, 10-rebound effort in a win over Auburn.
He enters Temple's Big 50 opener at La Salle (Nov. 26, 5 pm, NBC Sports Philadelphia/1210 AM WPHT) just two points shy of the 1000-point plateau.
