PHILADELPHIA - Mike Clark, who spent the previous two years as a graduate manager with the Temple men's basketball program, has been named assistant director of operations.

"We are excited to announce that Mike Clark is joining our staff as our assistant director of basketball operations," said Temple men's basketball coach Fran Dunphy. "Mike worked extremely hard the last two years as one of our graduate managers and will be a tremendous asset to our staff."

"I am grateful to Coach Dunphy and his staff for giving me this opportunity to be a part of the program," said Clark. "I am excited to assist the team in any way I can."

Clark earned his bachelor's degree in secondary education, social studies from Indiana University in 2014. He went on to receive his master's degree in Sports Business with a concentration in Athletic Administration from Temple in 2018.

Clark originally came to Temple from St. Louis, Mo., where he spent two years as a substitute teacher at the middle school and high school levels. While in St. Louis, Clark stayed heavily involved in basketball, serving as the freshman coach and varsity assistant coach at Ritenour High School. He was also a camp counselor for the Alex Bazzell Pure Sweat Academy and for the University of Illinois.

Clark spent time as an intern for Indiana Athletics in his final year at the university, and also spent a year and a half as a manager for the Hoosiers' women's basketball team.
