Men's Crew Closes Fall Season at Frostbite Regatta

PHILADELPHIA -- Braving frigid conditions in the aptly named Frostbite Regatta, the Temple men's crew team wrapped up its fall season with a solid day of racing.
Varsity Eight
> Both of Temple's varsity eight boats finished in the top three of their flights.
> The Owls "A" boat finished third in 6:01.210, ahead of Delaware and Ithaca, behind Penn and Colgate.
> Temple's "B" boat was second in 5:59.030, just three seconds off the pace of Penn, and ahead of Delaware and La Salle.
Varsity Four
> Temple's "A" boat took second in its flight, while the Owls' "B" boat won its flight.
> Temple's top boat finished behind only Penn, clocking in at 7:11.150, more than 26 seconds better than the third place finisher.
> The Owls "B" boat won its flight in 7:08.960, over Lafayette, La Salle, and Binghamton.
JV Eight
> Temple took the top two spots in the JV eight event.
> The Owls' "A" boat clocked in at 6:12.910, with the "B" boat finishing right behind in 6:14.120.
Freshman Eight
> Both of Temple's freshman eight boats performed well, taking second place.
> The Owls' "A" boat was second in 6:39.650 behind Delaware, and ahead of Colgate.
> Temple's "B" boat finished in 7:23.500, ahead of Delaware, behind only Ithaca.

> Both of Temple's varsity eight boats finished in the top three of their flights.
> The Owls "A" boat finished third in 6:01.210, ahead of Delaware and Ithaca, behind Penn and Colgate.
> Temple's "B" boat was second in 5:59.030, just three seconds off the pace of Penn, and ahead of Delaware and La Salle.

> Temple's "A" boat took second in its flight, while the Owls' "B" boat won its flight.
> Temple's top boat finished behind only Penn, clocking in at 7:11.150, more than 26 seconds better than the third place finisher.
> The Owls "B" boat won its flight in 7:08.960, over Lafayette, La Salle, and Binghamton.
JV Eight
> Temple took the top two spots in the JV eight event.
> The Owls' "A" boat clocked in at 6:12.910, with the "B" boat finishing right behind in 6:14.120.
Freshman Eight
> Both of Temple's freshman eight boats performed well, taking second place.
> The Owls' "A" boat was second in 6:39.650 behind Delaware, and ahead of Colgate.
> Temple's "B" boat finished in 7:23.500, ahead of Delaware, behind only Ithaca.
