Gymnastics Posts a 195.075 at Kent State

Kent, Ohio – Temple gymnastics closed out the regular season on a high note posting a 195.075 at Kent State's Tri-Meet, its first time scoring a 195 or higher on the road. Kent State placed first overall with a 196.325. George Washington came in second, posting a 195.650 followed by the Owls in third. The night's score marks the third-highest in program history, increasing Temple's regional qualifying score to above a 195 for the first time in history.
Beam
> The Owls registered a 48.700 on the balance beam.
> Freshmen Tori Edwards and Delaney Garin each posted a 9.8.
> Sophomore Daisy Todd was the third-best scorer with a 9.725
Floor
> On floor, Temple pulled a 49.05.
> Edwards posted the highest score with a 9.875 to place fifth overall.
> Junior India Anderson scored a 9.825 followed by a 9.8 from senior Sahara Gipson.

> The Owls continued momentum on vault posting a 48.825.
