PHILADELPHIA – Concluding the 2018 season, Temple gymnastics' Daisy Todd became the program's first ECAC vault champion at Saturday's ECAC Championships. Yale took home the team title with a score of 195.325. William & Mary followed in second with a 194.575. Brown placed third with a 194.025. Penn (193.200), Cornell (193.150), and Temple (192.675) followed in fourth, fifth, and sixth, respectively.

Highlights
> Daisy Todd posted the highest vault score of the event, writing her name in the record books as Temple's first ECAC vault champion in program history.
> Following another record-breaking season, head coach Umme Salim-Beasley was named the 2018 ECAC Coach of the Year.

Vault
> The Owls started strong on vault; registering Temple's highest-ever ECAC Championships vault score of 48.90.
> Todd placed first overall with a 9.825.
> Sahara Gipson posted a 9.80 to tie for second with Cornell's Amy Shen and William & Mary's Katie Waldman.
> Freshman Tori Edwards and sophomore Jaylene Everett tied for fifth with identical scores of 9.775.

Bars
> Temple took a hit on the uneven bars, posting a 46.90.
> Todd was the squad's best scorer with a 9.70.

Beam
> Next on beam, Temple posted 48.00.
> The Owls' highest score came from sophomore Kerra Masella with a 9.750.
> Sophomore Whitney King and freshman Delaney Garin each earned a pair of 9.725's for their routines.

Floor
> Temple closed out the afternoon on floor, tallying a 48.70.
> Junior India Anderson and Everett were the Owls' No. 1 scorers on the event, posting a pair of 9.825's to earn the bronze.
> Gipson and freshmen Madison Rennix and Jordyn Oster each posted scores of 9.725.

All-Around
> Edwards, who was slated to compete all-around for Temple, suffered an injury during the uneven bars rotation and was unable to compete on beam and floor.
